Working Together

The best first step is filling out the contact form with a brief overview of your project, timeline, and budget. I review every submission personally and typically respond within 24 hours. If we're a good fit, we'll book a discovery call to talk through the details.

Every project starts with a discovery call to align on goals and scope. From there I put together a proposal, and once approved we kick off with a strategy and research phase. Design and development follow in defined rounds, with your feedback built into each stage. The final delivery includes all source files and a handoff walkthrough.

Absolutely. The majority of my projects are remote-first. I work with clients across the US and internationally, primarily over Google Meet, email, and shared project tools. Time zone differences are rarely an issue — we'll establish a communication rhythm that works for both sides.

Both. Some clients come in for a single focused project — a rebrand, a website, a campaign — and others retain me on an ongoing basis for continued creative support. Either works. I'll always be upfront about fit and capacity before we commit to anything.

Pricing & Timelines

My minimum engagement is typically $2,500. Smaller projects are occasionally possible depending on scope and timing — the best way to find out is to reach out with your details. I'd rather have an honest conversation than turn you away without knowing the full picture.

It depends on scope. A focused brand identity project typically runs 3–5 weeks. A full website design and development engagement is usually 6–10 weeks. Ad creative projects are often faster — 1–3 weeks depending on volume. I'll always provide a clear timeline in the proposal before we begin.

Projects are typically structured with a 50% deposit to start and the remaining 50% due upon final delivery. Larger engagements may use a milestone-based payment schedule, which will be outlined clearly in the project agreement. I accept bank transfer and major credit cards.

Deliverables & Revisions

Most projects include two rounds of revisions at each major milestone — enough to refine the work without scope creep. The goal is always to get it right, not to limit feedback. If additional revisions are needed beyond what's included, they're billed at an hourly rate outlined in the proposal.

Brand identity projects are delivered with full source files (AI, EPS, SVG) plus production-ready exports in PNG and PDF across all intended use cases. Websites are handed off with clean, documented code and a walkthrough. Ad creative is packaged in the exact specs required by each platform.

Yes. Upon final payment, full ownership of all deliverables transfers to you. I retain the right to display the work in my portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing. You're free to use, modify, or hand off the work to anyone after project completion.

Services

Blackbear Creative offers brand identity design, web design and development, ad creative, and media buying. These services are often most powerful when combined — a brand that looks great, a site that converts, and ads that speak the same visual language. If you're not sure what you need, start with the contact form and we'll figure it out together.

Yes. Post-launch support and maintenance retainers are available for clients who want ongoing updates, performance monitoring, or content changes handled without the back-and-forth of a new project each time. Reach out and we can discuss what makes sense for your site.
